Eye See...Eye Learn®

How to Participate

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Eye See…Eye Learn® (ESEL) program. This province-wide initiative is designed to identify and address vision problems in children as they begin kindergarten, supporting early learning and lifelong eye health.

Through OHIP, junior and senior kindergarten students are eligible for a comprehensive, insured eye examination. If a prescription is required, each child receives one complimentary pair of glasses, made possible through the support of participating optometrists and our industry partners, Onesight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and Modern Optical Canada.

1Join ESEL — Complete Both of the Required Agreements

Two separate agreements must be completed before you can participate in the ESEL program: one for your practice and one for you personally as a doctor. Log into your practice account to complete the Practice Agreement.

Doctor Agreement - Required

After logging in with your personal member account, please fill out the form below. This can be done by the doctor, practice owner, or their designate.

Please Note

All terms and conditions must be accepted in order to participate. Both agreements need to be completed to have the “Eye See… Eye Learn Doctor” appear by your name in our “Find a Doctor” tool. This will notify potential patients that you are a participant.

2Set Up Your Partner Accounts with Essilor and Modern Optical

Two partner organizations supply lenses and frames for the ESEL program. You need a dedicated account with each.

ONESIGHT ESSILORLUXOTTICA FOUNDATION

All participating optometrists will receive a dedicated Essilor Toronto account for the Eye See…Eye Learn® program.

Already have an Essilor Toronto account?

If you already use Essilor Source for regular practice orders, do not use your existing login for ESEL; only the ESEL-specific credentials will be used, and only ESEL program products will appear when you sign in with that login.

Don't have an Essilor Toronto account?

If you do not have an account, Essilor Toronto Customer Service will create your account when you submit your first ESEL order by fax. Online ordering of ESEL patient prescription glasses will be available through a special Essilor Source login created specifically for this program. Once your ordering account is set up, you will receive an email with your ESEL Essilor Source username and password.
