With a coveted location that benefits from consistent walk-in traffic, a fully booked optometrist schedule, and a dedicated customer service team, Eyemaxx offers a dynamic and supportive work environment. We take pride in our in-house lab, intuitive online booking system, and seamless insurance direct billing.
We are currently expanding our space to increase our services and exam availability! As a result, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a practice with plans for growth and development.
Our Studio:
Starting January 2026, we will have one new exam lane for a total of three. Our equipment includes a digital EMR system, autorefractor/keratometer/tonometer, digital retinal imaging, and OCT.
Fully supported by our staff, including optometric assistants, opticians, optical stylists, lab technicians, and administrative/operational support.
Our Mission is to provide our community with honest advice and top-quality care in a supportive and understanding environment.
Days Available:
Availability: Open to all days of the week, with a preference for including weekends.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity tests, glaucoma testing, and eye health assessments.
Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
Diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions and diseases.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service and educate patients about their eye health.
Compensation:
100% of Exam Fees: Keep all revenue generated from eye exams.
Low Overhead: Pay only a nominal monthly rent fee.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Optometry License in the province of Ontario.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and relevant optometry equipment is an asset.
