Hiring an associate OD for Sunday coverage at Etobicoke Vision Centre, a non-dispensing optometric clinic inside Costco NW Toronto (Rexdale). Sunday coverage is flexible; choose your hours between 9:00am to 3:00pm and the number of Sundays you wish to work, from one to four Sundays per month. Enjoy a fully booked schedule (2-3 patients per hour), of 65% cash-paying and 35% OHIP patients, with a high capture rate on retinal imaging. Remuneration is generous! The opticians at Costco handle contact lens fittings and optical sales so you can focus on eye examinations and patient care.

We are a paperless clinic that uses OD Office Pro EMR. Etobicoke Vision Centre opened in November 2023 and is growing rapidly. The clinic has two exam lanes with a S4 Optik stand, slit-lamp, Nidek auto-phoropter with a digital VA chart, and an auto-lensometer. Pre-testing is completed by highly-trained optometric technicians and includes case history, auto-refraction/NCT/keratometry/pachymetry, auto-lensometry, Optos Daytona with auto-fluorescence, Nidek OCT and camera combo with auto-fluorescence. We have the Octopus 900 for visual field testing, which is set up with Humphrey field analysis and binocular estermann/FF-120 for MTO and occupational eye examinations.
